Early Retreats
In the soft hush of our first gatherings, small circles of strangers met in gentle stillness to explore a new way of being. These quiet beginnings were the seeds of everything we are today, as we slowly uncovered the magic of shared presence and realized what this community could truly become.
Autumn 2023
Himachal Festival
One hundred souls gathered at 10,000 feet, feeling the weight of a bigger dream for the very first time. Between the melodic rhythms and biting cold nights, we found a new way to belong far above the rest of the world.
Spring 2024
Mudhouse Sessions
These gatherings served as a vital testing ground where we discovered that the physical environment and group size were essential for deep intimacy. Through these casual interactions, we learned that the layout of a shared space can spark the most authentic connections between strangers.
Summer 2026
Goa 2026
For five days, one house became a world of its own as the monsoon rhythm slowed everything down. While the rain met the ocean, time seemed to stretch until we all left as different people than when we arrived.
The Horizon
A New Chapter
We are looking toward the horizon to create new sanctuaries for rest and meaningful courage across India's diverse landscapes. Our intention is to foster deeper connections by opening more rooms for shared presence and authentic discovery in the years to come.

Radhika arrived without really knowing what five days would feel like. She wrote about slowing down, moving beyond the usual “what do you do?” conversations, and spending time getting to know the people around her.
And somehow the same people having deep conversations during the day became a complete laugh riot at night. That is probably as close to a YouFinder definition as we’ve found.

Five days, one house, and the strange shift that happens when twenty strangers start listening to the rain together.
2023 EDITION
The First Festival
Before Goa, we went very high. 10,000 feet, to be exact.
Tungasi Dhar and Gadagushaini. Our first attempt at something bigger. 100 people gathered in Himachal Pradesh for India's highest mindfulness festival. We didn't know it then, but the music, the cold mountain evenings, and the movement were defining two very different sides of the YouFinder experience. It was a immersive experiment in what happens when we leave the valley floor behind.
The Story Before the Story
Before YouFinder had a name, Experiential Living Projects was already building places where guests stopped behaving like guests. At Mudhouse, people came for the mountains, but they stayed for the human connection. We were accidentally practicing this for years—learning that the most important thing we build isn't the accommodation, but the room where the conversation happens.
